The variable speed dial control on the Challengair Airmax forced air dryer allows for easy adjustments from full power for heavy coated animals, moderate power for ears and other sensitive areas and low air volume for young, small or sensitive animals, thus allowing the groomer to cater to the specific needs of the animal. It has two powerful motors that, together, create 246 cubic feet of air per minute! The motors are protected by a dual air filtration system, while the housing’s clamshell design allows easy access to all the dryer’s interior components for servicing. The Airmax has an aerodynamically designed high impact ABS housing and smooth hose lining which reduce resistance and enable more air volume. It comes with a six foot heat-resistant, crush-proof hose and five attachments, including an “air sweep” nozzle that pushes water from the undercoat. All the attachments twist onto the hose to prevent them from popping off under the high volume of air as often occurs with other forced air dryers. Both the dryer and the attachments are covered under a two-year manufacturer’s limited warranty and are available in your choice of blue or black. Now this portable dryer can easily convert back and forth to a stand dryer as needed with the tripod stand kit shown below!
