This beauty shear has a rainbow titanium coating and is forged to ensure excellent balance, proper blade alignment and great control. All Shark Fin Standard Line shears have convex edges made from Japanese 440A steel which not only allows smooth cutting, but also extends time between sharpenings. The swivel thumb provides added comfort and dexterity since it allows the stylist to rotate the shear instead of the hand, wrist, and arm, while the patented ergonomic crane handle design also properly aligns the nerves and tendons in the stylist’s hand which can greatly reduce - or even eliminate - problems such as hand and arm fatigue, back, neck, shoulder, or arm pain, tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and nerve damage.
