Shark Fin’s Standard Line swivel beauty shears have convex edges made from Japanese 440A steel that enable both ease in cutting and longer lasting edges. As with all Shark Fin shears, these beauty shears are forged to ensure excellent balance, proper blade alignment and great control. The swivel thumb provides added comfort and dexterity since it allows the stylist to rotate the shear instead of the hand, wrist, and arm, while the patented ergonomic crane handle design also properly aligns the nerves and tendons in the stylist’s hand which can greatly reduce - or even eliminate - problems such as hand and arm fatigue, back, neck, shoulder, or arm pain, tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and nerve damage. The SHEAR FIT™ system also helps relieve stress on the hand by allowing each stylist to custom fit their shears to the proper thumb and finger diameter size.
