Shark Fin’s Dirty Dawgz grooming shears can prove to be a great time saver on those dogs that love to get dirty since a rough-in can be effectively accomplished without washing the dog first! They have a semi-convex edge and are designed to easily cut through tough matted hair without wasting the life of the blades. These shears are forged from 440-A Japanese steel and have a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The ergonomically designed bent thumb is made with ease and comfort in mind. It is shaped to the groomer’s thumb angle which reduces calluses and blisters and provides more control. Shark Fin’s patented ergonomic handle design properly aligns the nerves and tendons in the groomer’s hand, while the "SHEAR FIT"™ system helps relieve stress on the hand by allowing each groomer to custom fit their shears to the proper thumb and finger diameter size. Because of the ergonomic design, these shears are a good choice for anyone dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, nerve damage, or back, neck, shoulder, or arm pain. They are available in 7 inch, 8 inch, or 9 inch stainless models and are also available as swivel and right handed shear models.
