Shark Fin Shear’s Dirty Dawgz Lefty grooming shears have a semi-convex edge and are designed to easily cut through tough matted hair - a great time saver on those dogs that love to get dirty! The durable semi-convex edges allow the groomer to cut through the dirt and mats, effectively accomplishing a rough-in without wasting the life of the blades. These shears are forged from 440-A Japanese steel and have a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The swivel thumb provides added comfort and dexterity since it allows the groomer to rotate the shear instead of the hand, wrist, and arm, while the patented ergonomic crane handle design also properly aligns the nerves and tendons in the groomer’s hand which can greatly reduce, or even eliminate, problems such as hand and arm fatigue, back, neck, shoulder, or arm pain, tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and nerve damage. The "SHEAR FIT"™ system also helps relieve stress on the hand by allowing each groomer to custom fit their shears to the proper thumb and finger diameter size. They are available in 7 inch, 8 inch, or 9 inch stainless models and are also available as non-swivel and left handed shear models.
