The Shark Fin Platinum Line of grooming shears is forged from the highest quality 440-C Japanese Hitachi steel and has a Rockwell hardness of 61-63. They hold a very sharp edge and have a very smooth cut. The ergonomically designed bent thumb adds ease and comfort to each grooming experience. It is shaped to the groomer’s thumb angle which reduces the formation of calluses and blisters while offering more control. Shark Fin’s patented ergonomic handle design properly aligns the nerves and tendons in the groomer’s hand, while the "SHEAR FIT"™ system helps relieve stress on the hand by allowing each groomer to custom fit their shears to the proper thumb and finger diameter size. The ergonomic design of these shears make them a good choice for anyone dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, nerve damage, or back, neck, shoulder, or arm pain. Some of the shears are also available in Rainbow and Pink color; see below for available choices. The curved and straight grooming shears come in your choice of 7 inch, 8 inch, or 9 inch, and the 7 inch thinning shears have 44 teeth. There are also left handed grooming shears available in this line.
